October is one of my most favorite months. I am a total nut when it comes to flair for all Hallows Eve. So, I go crazy for simple themed wearables at Halloween. Sometimes I am looking for just a ‘hint’ at a costume, rather than a full transformation. Two things:

  1. October is the best time of year for a wardrobe update. When fall is on its way, the green begins to fade. Verdant life in one place (the earth) may fade, but blossoms in another (typically within my makeup). So I am a bit of a nut when it comes to fall holidays, in particular, a holiday that involves heroes, villains, ghost and ghouls. Because so many transformations are inevitable, I typically create my costumes from outfits in my closet and work in some makeup that leans into my story line.
  2. I love fantasy fairytales, so the evil queen theme is right up my realm! This look is na easy way to zhuzh up your wardrobe.
